About Me
My name is Mateus, I am a Graphic Designer graduated from UTFPR and I have worked in the area of Web Design, UI/UX and programming since 2019, developing websites optimized for fast loading and high conversion.
I have mainly worked with WordPress, but my knowledge is not limited to that. I have in-depth knowledge of how HTML5 and CSS work, I master tools such as Tailwind CSS, Figma, Adobe XD and Photoshop, and I have experience in programming languages such as Javascript, PHP, and frameworks such as NextJS and React.
Education
Graduation in Graphic Design - UTFPR (Federal Technological University of Paraná):
My education at UTFPR laid a solid foundation in design principles, which I further developed through internships at various companies. During these internships, I gained practical experience with tools such as Figma, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and PHP. I also sharpened my skills in UI/UX design and web design, which were crucial in transitioning to my freelance career. Although my time in these roles was brief, they provided valuable insights and set the stage for my work as a freelancer. I began taking on freelance projects even before graduation, allowing me to apply what I learned in real-world scenarios and build a diverse portfolio.

Bruc Internet (2020 - 2021)
Main Functions:
For about 6 months, I worked creating posts for social media and developing layouts and banners for websites and e-commerce.
Impact:
This experience allowed me to improve my design skills, especially in adapting layouts for different platforms and creating impactful visual elements for the digital environment.
Web Designer
Freelancer (2020 - Today)
Main Functions:
Since 2020, I have been working as a freelancer, offering website design and development services to a variety of clients. My responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing custom websites, aligned with the needs and objectives of clients.
- Conducting detailed briefings to ensure that projects meet expectations and deadlines.
- Providing technical support for websites, hosting and emails, ensuring the functionality and security of systems.
- Creating effective and visually appealing email marketing layouts.
Impact:
Freelancing has given me a holistic perspective of the web development process, from initial concept to final delivery and ongoing support. I have learned how to manage projects independently, improving my communication, time management, and customer service skills.
